Watch Winder Cleaning and Maintenance Guide

Before starting cleaning, please complete these safety steps:

• Disconnect power - Unplug the AC power adapter
• Remove batteries - If using battery power, remove all batteries
• Remove watches - Take out all watches from the winder and store safely
• Prepare tools - Gather the following cleaning supplies

OEEA watch winders use premium rubberwood and walnut. Proper cleaning maintains the wood's luster:

1. Lightly dampen a microfiber cloth with water (wring until not dripping);
2. Gently wipe the entire wood case surface to remove dust and fingerprints;
3. Immediately dry with another dry microfiber cloth to prevent moisture from seeping into the wood;
4. For stubborn stains, add one drop of mild detergent to the damp cloth (test on a bottom corner first).

Velvet lining easily collects dust and skin flakes, but is not suitable for wet cleaning:

1. Use a soft-bristle brush (makeup brush works best) to gently sweep dust from the lining surface;
2. For crevices and corners, use a low-suction vacuum with brush attachment (do not use a standard nozzle directly);
3. For small particles trapped in fibers, gently remove with a lint roller;
4. Do not use any liquid on the velvet, as it may cause fading or deformation.

Watch pillows directly contact watch straps and should be cleaned regularly:

1. Most OEEA watch pillow covers are removable (open Velcro or zipper at the bottom);
2. Remove the cover and hand wash in cold water with mild detergent;
3. Gently squeeze out water (do not wring or twist);
4. Air dry away from direct sunlight or dryer heat;
5. Once completely dry, put the cover back on the pillow core.

OEEA watch winders feature high-transparency glass or acrylic covers:

1. Use a dedicated glasses cloth or microfiber lint-free cloth;
2. If needed, spray a small amount of glass cleaner on the cloth (never directly on the panel);
3. Gently wipe in circular motions;
4. For acrylic panels, never use alcohol-based cleaners as they can cause clouding and cracking.

Keeping motor vents clean is essential for extending your watch winder's lifespan:

1. Locate the vents on the bottom or back of the watch winder;
2. Use cotton swabs or a soft brush to gently clean dust from vents;
3. Use a compressed air canister (short bursts) to blow out internal dust;
4. Do not use a vacuum directly on vents to avoid damaging internal components;
5. Check vents every 3 months to ensure no blockage.

Regular waxing protects the wood case, prevents cracking, and gives a warm luster:

• Keep away from radiators, AC vents, and humidifiers
